Sugar free rice kheer

A very famous south-indian dessert receipe is kheer. The different forms of kheer are made in different parts of our country and it is making people’s taste more healthier. Kheer has always been a necessary and delicious part of food parties.
In north India, kheer is especially made on the occasion of festivals or any auspicious occasion.
Kheer is also used as prasad in temples.
In our side, Kheer of rice is very famous and It’s delicious as well.
Rice kheer can be made for any festival or celebration or also as a sweet dessert which you can be served after meals. The dish is quick and very easy.

Full cream milk- 2 litres
Rice- 100 gms.
Water- 2 cup
Sugarfree sweetner- 30 gms. approx.
Dry fruits- 50 gms.


Cleanse the rice in a bowl and soap it in the water.
Turn on the flame.
Boil the 2 litre full cream milk in a milk pot on medium flame for 10 minutes.
Add the plane water in the milk.

After that, put the soaked rice in the boiling milk and stir it regularly.
Don’t leave the stirring till rice is well cooked and messed up with the milk.(otherwise rice will catch the pot)
Put the flame low.
Milk will turn little brownish.
The kheer will shrink and reduce to one-fourth.
The whole process will take up to 35 to 40 minutes.


Turn off the flame and add the sugarfree sweetner instead of sugar to maintain the real taste of the receipe.

Decorate the kheer with dry fruits as you wish.
